FAQs

  • A flower CSA, or community supported agriculture, allows members to purchase a share of the farm in advance in order to enjoy its product during the growing season. In this case, you would purchase a share of this local flower farm and later receive beautiful flowers in exchange

  • We currently offer our CSA through website purchases. We have 2 CSAs that are available every other week for 3 deliveries/pickups and we have 1 CSA available every other week for 6 deliveries/pickups.

  • The online store for next season’s CSA opens in the late fall/early winter. Early bird offers go out first to our email subscribers and past CSA members. Registration closes in early spring. Subscriptions are then carried out in the spring and summer months.

  • Farming is an unpredictable profession. When members purchase a share of the farm, they are also buying into the risk of crop failure. All sales are final. However, as a small, local farm, we do try to work directly with our members on a one-on-one basis to try to make up for any loss. When crops are doing very well, members receive added bonuses that are worth even more than what they paid. It is a dynamic relationship

  • Delivery and pickup dates are pre-set. You have 24 hours to pick up from the Farmstand. Bouquets not claimed within this 24 hour timeframe will be donated through our Sunshine Program. If you contact your farmer within the 24 hour timeframe you may have an additional 24 hour extension. We discourage this as changing weather patterns may decrease the quality of flowers over time. If your flowers are delivered to your home and you are not there, it is best to make arrangements for a friend or family member to pick it up on your behalf.

  • Absolutely! At this time we encourage this option. In the future, if we run into theft issues, this policy may change.

  • When you purchase your CSA, you’re asked to provide the delivery address. This address must be within 10 miles of Bemidji, MN. If you are wanting your bouquet delivered to a different address, please contact your farmer at least 72 hours prior to the designated delivery date. The new address will be temporarily used for one delivery and MUST be within 10 miles of Bemidji, MN. Changes made less than 72 hours prior to the delivery date may not be honored. If you are needing flowers delivered to a different address more than once, you will need to notify your farmer each subsequent time.

  • Currently, we can be reached by filling out the form on our Contact page. Otherwise, we do our best to respond to social media messages via our Facebook and Instagram profiles. Emails are typically responded to within 1 week. Social media messages may or may not be responded to on a less frequent basis

  • Each member will be entered into an email group. Communications will be sent on a regular basis. These communications will include purchase confirmation, our handbook, crop updates, any changes to delivery/pickup plans and first notification of special offers and offers unique only to CSA members

  • You can find the link HERE. It will also be sent via email after purchase. There is also a link in the footer of the website.

  • While we have yet to experience theft at our Farmstand, I understand how this can be a concern. To alleviate some of this fear, there is a security camera installed at the Farmstand with signage indicating so. If a theft has still taken place, please contact me as soon as possible and I will come up with a new date for you to receive a delivered bouquet free of charge.
